Visiting CIYC -
Our Reciprocal Policy
Cedar Island Yacht Club is pleased to welcome guests to visit our Club and extends a perpetual invitation of reciprocal privileges to members of clubs offering reciprocal privileges to our membership. Come share our facilities and enjoy our fellowship at Canada’s southernmost yacht club.
We offer dockage, water, electricity, showers, ice, barbecues, wireless internet access and entry to our clubhouse. Our fee schedule is no charge for the first three nights and $1.00 per foot for additional nights. Guests belonging to CYA or I-LYA making use of our facilities are asked to fly their club burgee.
Cedar Island Yacht Club is located on Cedar Creek on the north shore of Lake Erie, two miles west of Kingsville, Ontario (Latitude 42.0126198 Longitude -82.7809785). We normally have a water depth of approximately six feet. After entering Cedar Creek from Lake Erie, tie up at our gin pole dock on your port side. Introduce yourself and enjoy our facilities and the sights of the surrounding area. Dockage is limited and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. If an open well is available, you may be asked to move from the gin pole dock.
To make arrangements, call our clubhouse at 519-733-2555 and we will get back to you as soon as possible. You can also contact us by email - firstname.lastname@example.org – and even by snail mail: 982 Heritage Road, P.O. Box 214, Kingsville, ON N9Y 2E9.
