March - Welcome Daniela Likovsky and John Guillette, new members from Markham, ON.
We both are recently retired Information Technology consultants and now live in Harrow Ontario.  We enjoy gardening, home renovations, cooking, reading, swimming, sailing and travelling as well as entertaining our guests.  We are originally from Markham Ontario but decided to leave the GTA and retire sooner while the real estate market there was still hot.  The milder weather in Essex county is definitely a big plus as it gives us more time to spend outdoors.  Four children - daughter works at Point Pelee National Park and lives in Kingsville,  oldest son works/lives in Toronto, middle son works/lives in London Ontario and the youngest son is in the Canadian Military out of CFB Shilo Manitoba.
On another note, does anyone in the club play chess?  I miss playing the occasional game.

March - Wally & Cori Hogan both grew up in Kingsville and were members at CIYC in the late 70's through the mid 80's when work opportunities moved them out of town, Wally in the information technology field and Cori a Registered Nurse.

Since then, they have been members of Port Credit Yacht Club and Etobicoke Yacht Club for many years.  Wally has served as an executive of LYRA (Lake (Ontario) Yacht Racing Association and as a Board Director for the Ontario Sailing Association.

They have two grown children who share a passion for sailing and the water.
Ian is a mechanical engineer living in Toronto with wife Alex.  He is a member of RCYC and a former member the Canadian National Sailing Team.  Sean is a teacher living in Barrie with fiancé Angie, and Sean is an excellent sailor in his own right.

Wally & Cori are delighted to have the opportunity to return to Kingsville and live 'at the beach', and once again join Canada's most southerly yacht club!  They look forward to catching up with old friends and making new friends too!
