CIYC proudly offers Sail Canada-certified sailing courses for both adults (keelboats) and youth (dinghies). Our expert instructors create a fun, safe, and supportive learning environment on the water.

Member Perks

Paddle Pass
Full and Social members can now launch their kayak, canoe, or SUP directly from our new floating kayak launch — included in your membership! Paddle up scenic Cedar Creek or venture out into Lake Erie.
Need storage? Rack space for paddle craft is available year-round for $55.  Paddle Pass page.

Dry Sail Program
Bring your dinghy to CIYC! Full and Social members can launch boats up to 15 feet long and 75 inches wide using our club facilities, including a small crane for easy launching. Boats may be stored on a rack, dolly, or trailer (subject to space).

Boat Share Program
No boat? No problem! Graduates of our Basic Keelboat program (or those with equivalent skills) can share use of a club teaching keelboat with up to three others.

• Daylight sailing in Canadian waters only

• Boats must be scheduled and maintained by participants
